This web site is meant to provide some insight into
who I am, and what I hope to provide the citizens of
White Settlement.
I see great opportunities just waiting for someone to step up and make the first
move. While serving on the council the point was made that we didn't need to know
who or when someone had contacted the city. Operating under these circumstances
it is impossible to accomplish much. I want to make the whole council responsible
for,and held accountable for bringing in new business. I have a plan for developing
the 820 access road, and the industrial district between Cherry Lane and Spur 341.
I will be having some question and answer sessions in the near future, but if you have
some specific questions or comments I would like to hear from you.

                                                           Thank You,

I was born in Azle Tx.in 1958,and after moving around for
several years due to my fathers job we finally moved to
White Settlement in 1968.I attended West Elementary,Brewer
Middle School, and Brewer High School graduating in 1976.I
started my involvement in local government in the early
1980's as a member of the Park & Recreation board of
directors. My father Cecil Anderson was serving as a city
councilman at the time, and we discussed what was going on
and how he reached his decisions.I became convinced that I
could make a difference too. My father left the council in
1993,and I was elected to the council in 1994 to finish an
unexpired term with two years left.I did not run for
re-election at the end of that term, but did come back and win
another full term in 2003.I now am running again because of
the abuses I see the city inflicting on its citizen's.
